My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer - what better reason to get me out of the house and more active? Like most people I have had love ones hit by this horrible disease and I imagine in the last year fund raising has been at an all time low whilst we have all been facing life with this horrible pandemic. Unfortunately though, cancer didn’t take a holiday during this time and I just want to help a little bit if I can. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
