My Story
On the 28th October 2018 my mum sat me and my sister down to tell us news that nobody ever wants to hear from a loved one. You never think it’s going to happen to someone you love until it hits you like a ton of bricks. I’m going to be running 5k for every mother, sister, aunt, nan, daughter, wife and all other loved ones that ever have to break the hard news to their family. I want to raise money to support a charity that is making a difference to people’s lives through the work they do in prevention and treatment. Also as a way of giving back and saying thank you to the nurses, doctors and volunteers that provide treatment & support for patients. For anyone who knows me will know this will be challenging for a chocolate loving sloth! But it will all be worth it knowing it’s going to a charity that can make a difference.
