My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. My Grandad has had cancer several times and told it exactly where to go each time. (A true Yorkshire man!) My other grandma has now recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and she too will fight this demon wth everything in her Yorkshire blood. My family are my absolute world and I’m doing this to raise money and honour the strength they have shown - whether it be from those diagnosed, close family dealing with the shock or the pain of watching our loved ones suffering. I absolutely hate running and I’m soooo bad at it, but I’ve chosen the challenge of a 10k rather than the 5k as cancer is a challenge to my loved ones.
