Claire's Pretty Muddy Race for Life
Edinburgh Pretty Muddy 5k 2018

I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
Watching my mum battle with breast cancer was heartbreaking. She is such an inspirational woman being as brave as she was at such a horrible time in her life. Even when I watched her have the remaining hair she had left being shaved off, she still had a smile on her face. Thankfully my mum managed to beat her cancer, with treatments and having a mastectomy. I can’t even imagine how she must have felt having to go through what she did and I’am blessed to have her still here and to meet her little grandson ? I also have had a friend lose her battle with cancer at a young age, I have a couple of friends still battling with cancer, some of which are untreatable. I have watched the lives of other friends lose loved ones to this horrible disease too. So, on the 22nd of September, I can’t think of a better thing to do on my birthday than complete this Pretty Pink race for life assault course, in the hope I can raise money and awareness to help beat cancer! LETS DO THIS! ?
