My Story
I'm doing race for life for my husband, Barry who is my soul mate and best friend. He was given the most devasting news by doctors 2week ago that he has got brain cancer. The prognosis is likely to be an incurable and agressive form of cancer. At this point we have been told the cancer will come back but when we dont know. He has undergone major brain surgery and we are awaiting news on when his treatment chemo and radiotherapy can start. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children age 7 and 10. Our world's have been turned upside down and I'm hoping that by doing race for life will mean that I can help even just 1 family going through what we are going through right now.
