My Story
In January I set myself a goal to run 5k this year and I can’t think of a more worthwhile cause. I’m running for my grandad who lost his battle to cancer. I’m running for the loss and sadness felt by our family. I’m running for those individuals and families who are facing this awful disease right now. I’m running to raise money and support the amazing work done by cancer research uk in the hope that one day a cure is found. Please sponsor me and support the work done by this amazing charity. I will probably be slightly worse for wear after 5k but your sponsorship and support will encourage me no end; every penny helps. Thank you xx

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
