My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. Recently, my dad was diagnosed with cancer so it's really important to me that I help and give back to a charity that is helping my dad. Experiencing cancer's effects first hand has made me realise how difficult it can be, not only for the person affected, but for the family too. It's also made me more aware that cancer can affect anyone regardless of their situation. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
