Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer has affected us all in some way. I lost my mum in 1998 to pancreatic cancer and I miss her each and every day. I’ve lost aunts, uncles and grandparents to different types of cancers. Too many lives have been lost. I’ve known people to fight the fight and sadly lose to those people that have managed to win the battle. Now I’ve become a runner I want to do something that not only gives me a personal challenge it can help raise money for vital funds that are needed to help one day beat cancer.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
