In 2020 my gorgeous niece was diagnosed with cancer just days before her 4th birthday. Lydia was taken into theatre so they could investigate the blood blister/lump that her parents had found. The news was devastating, she had cancer. Lydia underwent months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but no matter how poorly she felt, she always came out smiling. She’s a superstar. She has since finished her treatment and rang the bell, but we know this is largely down to the fantastic work of the NHS and Cancer Research UK, which is why we are raising money for such a fantastic charity.
CAUSE
Children & Young People
Every day 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. The good news is that improvements in treatments mean more children and young people are surviving cancer than ever before. But we still need to do more. With your help we will find new, better and kinder treatments for children and young people diagnosed with cancer. Donate now and help beat children’s cancers sooner.
