My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m completing the Swim 10k Challenge throughout November to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. I'm doing this for my mum who is living with cancer, but doing great thanks to a life saving pill she takes daily; also for some dear friends of mine who are currently undergoing chemotherapy. The science behind these treatments changes all the time as we discover more about how cancer acts and what medication can do in the fight to halt it. And Cancer Research is at the forefront of this. It's also a personal challenge for me because I'm a terrible swimmer! And I've decided to do it in the unheated Parliament Hill Lido. Wish me luck and, if you're able to, sponsor me for a few quid!
