I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer

I'm running this in honour and memory of friends, family and colleagues whose lives have been affected by cancer.

It's my first fund raising event since starting running and I hope to do Cancer Research UK proud and beat my target... and my half marathon PB... and maybe that 2hr barrier!!

As the LLHM was cancelled / postponed due to COVID-19, the organisers set up a 'Local Landmarks Challenge' so fund-raising could continue and everyone could win a medal for their endeavours. So I submitted this wonderful run down Brighton seafront. I'm hugely proud of this, it shows that training pays off as it was almost 10 minutes faster than my HM time last year. Thanks to all those who sponsored me. Charities will need help more than ever before.

So sad to say the London Landmarks Half Marathon has been cancelled... now waiting to hear if it’s going to be rescheduled. Thank you to everyone who sponsored me and got me to my target. I trained really hard - five days per week and it looked like I would get a PB way faster than my last. Not sure what happens to your donations but I’ll keep you posted!
