Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. For me, in the last 4 years there have been 5 people in my social group that have been diagnosed with cancer. For some, the prognosis was not good, is not good, and it is a constant reminder of the need to find a cure. I'm going to try and do my bit to raise some money - this time by doing the Pretty Muddy and later in the year by doing the 5K Race for Life proper.
