I do this in memory of too many friends and family that have battled cancer!
My Story
This is my crazy thing! I'm now safely into my forties according to the numbers but determined I am going to continue to challenge myself to new things - running 10K is my new thing this year. It hurts - I am not a natural runner - but I'm doing this to help raise awareness (and cash) for cancer research. Over my life too many friends and family have battled cancer some winning and some losing the fight this is for them! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
