My Story
My name is Isaac and I am 5 years old. I don't know what cancer means but I do like helping people. I watched my mum do a muddy race and it looks really good fun. This year she told me they are doing a race for children and I really wanted to take part. Taking part in things isn't always that easy for me as I was born with a rare chromosome disorder. Tiny bits of genetic data is missing and this makes it harder for me to run and jump and hop like my friends and my balance isn't as good. I sometimes struggle to communicate as I don't have as many words as my friends and my words don't always sound as I want them to. I am determined to take part this year and already very excited, especially as my brothers and other family will be coming to watch and cheer me on! My mum is going to support me on my run before doing her own muddy run and I am hoping to raise £100 which is the biggest number I know. Thank you for supporting me, Love Isaac xxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
