Unfortunately we have all been affected at some point with the dreaded 'C' word so this has always been a race that we have wanted to do but just never got around to doing it. However this year is different, myself, Molly & Lilly have entered to do the 10K run - yes you did read that right, the 10K! Our inspiration this year is my Dad/Grandad who was diagnosed with prostate cancer towards the end of last year which knocked us all for 6. The determination shown by Dad/Grandad to beat this just blew us away and in the months to follow with the treatment and recovery really proved to us we have our own life Super Dad / Super Grandad ❤️️ We just want to give a little bit back and the girls want to show their Grandad how proud of him they are! So I am obviously not the fittest of people and this in itself is a challenge, but I have been making the effort to get into some kind of shape and just have Dad in my mind. So if you are able to spare just a couple of pounds it really would mean a lot to us but we are not expecting to raise loads as we just want to do this for Dad / Grandad.
