On Race for Life day it will be 4 years, almost to the day, since we lost my dad (Hannah and Thomas' grandad, and husband to Ann) to melanoma skin cancer. Emotional, thought provoking times for all of his family, and for me, taking part in this annual event, goes a little way towards raising funds for the continuing, essential medical research needed to beat it.
