My biggest running challenge yet!
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. This is for everyone who has been touched by Cancer. In particular my friends Emily and her mum Katherine. An inspirational pair who have battled through the worst news anyone could be given. They’ve been through three years of turmoil, endless hospital check ups, invasive treatments and chemotherapy. They have handled every step, every bump in the road with poise and grace. Emily was 12 when she was diagnosed with Leukemia and in a split second her childhood was taken. We are lucky to live in a country that provides free healthcare but this does not make the process any easier. I am taking on my biggest running challenge yet to raise awareness and hopefully some funds for this wonderful charity. It is going to be hard, but not as hard as living with Cancer.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
