My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I'll be pedalling harder than ever, motivated by raising money for life-saving research to develop new treatments and cures. As we all know, Covid-19 will most likely have put many cancer diagnoses on the back burner and potentially even jeopardised treatment plans, so now more than ever funding is needed. The challenge for me personally is not only in the distance - September post Covid's impact is going to be a month of Manic Mondays played on repeat work-wise... But cycling has been one of the things I have clung to during lockdown, and I refuse to let that drift off. The best way to keep going is to set "a little" challenge- so i'm kicking off the running trainers and hopping onto the bike. Every penny makes a huge difference so please show your support with a donation to my page. Please also wish for no wind or rain- I'm very much still a fair weather rider(!)
