Big Hike Lake District - Full Marathon 2026
My Story
This Big Hike hits different to the last time I walked 26 miles to raise money for a cancer related organisation. Back in 2018, me and my Dad walked a marathon distance in the Peak District to help raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer - an incredible organisation that were there towards the end of my Grandad's life and were an incredible support to both him and my Gran. Fast forward 7/8 years and I am now walking to raise money for Cancer Research because my Dad aka my hero, is going through cancer treatment of his own as well as being a full time carer for my Mum, who is living with dementia. I can do nothing to help or heal his condition but it is in my physical power to contribute somehow...and I hope you will help me by making a donation of any size. Thank you for reading!
