My Story
We’re both running our first ever Half Marathon to help raise money for Cancer Research. Having both seen first hand the devastating impact this awful disease can have on people’s lives, we want to do our (very small) bit to help this great cause continue to do its amazing work and develop life changing treatments to help stop cancer in its paths. Any donations however small will be very gratefully received and give us the extra motivation on the day to get through it (which we will really need!). Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
