Hi, I’ve decided to run the Race for Life in memory of my mum who lost her life to cancer last year. My son Ewan, daughter Niamh and her lovely boyfriend Kris are also running it with me. It is a terrible disease and causes so much suffering for everyone surrounding the person who has it as well as the person themselves. So many of us know of some one who has been affected, which is why I'm taking part in the Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. So any donation will help make a difference.
