My Story
Unfortunately cancer is becoming more of a common disease that has become the normal to hear about, it however doesn't mean that it makes it easier to talk about or deal with. For me talking about cancer out loud creates a vulnerability to me and makes the situation real....however the situation is real. More and more people .. 1 out of 2 ... are diagnosed with cancer. You honestly believe that it could never have been you. However there is hope, love and support not just from your closet friends and family but strangers from all over the country raising money and showing unionship. It doesn't take away the cancer but it helps you feel better about it.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
