I'm taking part in Race for Life for my Mum and the thousands of others receiving treatment
My Story
As a child, I watched my mum receive radiotherapy and in 2012 I held her hand all the way through her first session of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, she will never be cured of her tumour, but her strength and bravery motivates me every day. So, this year I have decided to run for her and the thousands of others receiving treatment.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
