I'm running the London Marathon for Cancer Research UK, in memory of family & friends that I've lost and to celebrate the lives of those who have survived or are living with cancer.

Like many people I have lost family and close friends to cancer but on the upside I know many more who are living with, or have beaten cancer. Having been successfully treated for skin cancer a couple of years ago I'm lucky, and fit enough, to be able to raise money for Cancer Research UK. in this iconic event.

I took up running at a late age, just over 3 years ago, and am now starting training for my first marathon - London 2020. It's a big step up from the half marathons that I did in 2019 but knowing that the money that I raise, with your help, will be going into vital research will spur me on in training and on the big day

So help me honour the memories of my uncles Harry & Jack, Gerry & Alannah, John C and Joe D and celebrate the lives of family, friends, ex-colleagues and all people who have been helped by advances in diagnosis and treatment.

Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. THANK YOU.

Mounts Bay Harriers Karen, Andrew, Paul and me at a very wet start of the Bath Half Marathon. It poured down for 3 hours before, and for most of, the race which was relatively flat ( compared to Cornwall) & fast . Thank you all so much for helping me reach my target. The page will remain open & I will post more pictures when I resume training in August for the October 4th rescheduled event.
