My Story
As many of you are aware myself and my sister lost our mum to cancer 10 year ago. I have never done anything to raise money before, but with a close friend of mine also now facing the same battle with cancer, I thought now was the time to try and raise something against this awful disease. I would love for other families to have the time that we haven't with our mum and hopefully this can go towards making this happen! I’ll be doing the Outlaw 70.3 triathalon in Nottingham on 21st May to raise money for cancer research! For those of you that don’t know what a 70.3 triathalon is it’s swimming 1.2miles, cycling 56miles and running 13.1 miles. I have only ever done sprint triathalon and I’ve never even ran a half marathon before (of which the run on this is a half marathon) so the training and actual race is going to be a massive test for me! I will update this page once a week on my training!
