My Story
My dad was to say the least an avid runner. In his prime he would maybe take a day or two off a week. Marathons and even ultra marathons were second nature to him. I on the other hand have always had a somewhat different relationship with running. You might say its been more of a long distance one. This year I lost my dad to an aggressive form of Lymphoma and it only feels right to literally tread in his footsteps and go from couch to half marathon. I'm hoping to raise money for Cancer Research, so that we can be better prepared for other parents that are as unfortunate as my own.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
