My Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I have plenty of friends that have had friends or family die of cancer. Cancer is a horrible disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body. Cancer develops when the body's normal control mechanism stops working. Old cells do not die and cells grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells. These extra cells may form a mass of tissue, called a tumor. Some cancers, such as leukemia, do not form tumors. I’ve heard people say they didn’t do enough for the loved ones that passed away because of Cancer. But nows your chance, your chance to be able to change the future, find a cure, and make lives happy again. Please take time and donate to a strong, heart warming charity that tries there best!

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
