My Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We're running 10K to raise money for Cancer Research. Carrie and I are doing this in memory of our friend Lauren who sadly passed away last November from cancer. Lauren made a big impact on many lives through her career as a support worker and as a wonderful friend, wife, sister and daughter. Unfortunately at the age of 29, Lauren passed away after a long and brave battle with cancer. We're doing this in the hope that things will be different in the future. Please give what you can x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
