Christine's Cycle 300 Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. I have been meaning to do a challenge for a while, but couldn't decide which cause to support. When colleagues and friends were diagnosed with Cancer recently, it gave me the nudge I needed to commit to this cause. Those who know me well, will be aware that both my parents‘ lives were affected by cancer. My father had lung Cancer and with the help of an amazing surgeon was able to live another 16 years. My mother had bowel cancer. She had two operations, one was ground breaking and lived another 15 years. Neither of them had to have radio or chemotherapy. It is with this in mind that I commited to this worthy cause and will therefore be pedalling harder than ever in memory of those affected by Cancer. I will be doing this either outside or on my Airbike indoors. My aim is to complete at least 300 miles, and I will document my efforts on this page. I hope you will help me raise money for future life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support!
