I'm walking at Shine Night Walk in the hope to raise more awareness surrounding children’s cancers.

Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.

Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

It is heartbreaking to see young lives lost through this horrible disease. That is why I have decided to raise money specifically for children’s cancers. Anything you can donate, however small, would be amazing.

I’m completing this marathon with my friend Catherine. The first walk of this kind I have ever undertaken.

Cause

Children & Young People

Every day 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. The good news is that improvements in treatments mean more children and young people are surviving cancer than ever before. But we still need to do more. With your help we will find new, better and kinder treatments for children and young people diagnosed with cancer. Donate now and help beat children’s cancers sooner.
