Grandad John & Grandad George
My Story
I am taking on this Muddy race which will be a challenge for myself due to ongoing health issues in a bid to raise money for cancer research which is something very close to my heart. Sadly I lost both Grandad's to cancer John (Leukaemia) and George (stomach cancer) and have present family members which are fighting cancer and 'whooping its butt' however this is only with the current help of Cancer Research. Both Grandad's were a true inspiration and will forever stay close to my heart and this would mean so much to me if I could raise my target in loving memory of their beautiful souls! I am taking on this challenge together with some girl friends as we all have one thing in common : To Whoop cancer's butt!! #50SHADESOFPINK currently Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
