My Story
For those of you that know me, I don’t run! I don’t exercise - it really is not good for you! I also hate mud! However, one evening, no doubt after a few glasses of wine, I agreed to take part in Pretty Muddy with a lovely group of friends who all run regularly - eek! Well if I’m going to do it and make a complete fool of myself, let’s make it worthwhile. We all know someone affected by cancer and it’s brutal. It devastates lives and is happening right now. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime - how scary is that. It could be me or you - any member of our families. We need to do everything we can to stop this and every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please, please sponsor me now. After all, I think it’s the only thing that will get me round!
