My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. My family have been affected by cancer (like so many other families) cancer does not always kill you but can still take your independence away it can still change how you live your life for ever. My nan suffered from multiple cancers in her later years, affecting how she lived her life, how she ate, how she could speak, although it wasn't the cancer that she died from, it was the cancer that ensured she suffered her last 10 years of her life. My Step mum has had breast cancer and luckily is now in remission and has been for a few years but always lives in fear of it coming back. My dad is currently being treated for skin cancer and is only just starting his fight which he will win and overcome. I've decided to take myself out of my comfort zone and try to raise money to raise awarenes of this dreadful disease. Please help me to help others by donating whatever you can to support me and keep me motivated and achieve this challenge. This challenge for me is small in comparison to what others face on a daily basis. Thank you for taking the time to read
