My Story

As a former cancer nurse and health care researcher, I have seen first hand what a difference research makes to the lives of people with and affected by cancer. Like so many of us, my family and friends have also been profoundly affected by this illness. Great strides have been made, with the help of Cancer Research UK and many other charities. We desparately need to keep up the pace of progress. That's why at the grand old age of 65 I'm running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham on 28th September, followed by the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on 12th October, in support of CRUK. Together we can do this! Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every donation, large or small, is so much appreciated.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
