My Story
In the heart of what should have been a joyful time, buying their first house together, welcoming a new baby and getting engaged in Rome , Chris received a devastating diagnosis: colon cancer. At just 31, with three young children, including a newborn of only three months, his future was thrown into uncertainty. From August to December 2024, Chris faced the fight of his life. But thanks to the incredible care he received and the unwavering love of his family, Chris is now in remission and ready to give back. He's determined to turn his survival into hope for others. This April, Chris is challenging himself to run 100 miles – a little over 3 miles a day – to raise vital funds for cancer research. Every step he takes is a testament to the power of resilience and the importance of research that saves lives. His partner, Lauren, who was his rock throughout his battle, will be running alongside him, providing unwavering support and mutual motivation. Together, they'll conquer this challenge, stride for stride, symbolizing the strength they found in each other during the toughest of times. Without the research these funds support, Chris might not be here to watch his children grow. Your donation, no matter how big or small, is a lifeline. It fuels the breakthroughs that give hope to those facing cancer. Join Chris and Lauren in their mission to make a difference. Donate today and help turn survival into hope.
