Roy’s Great 10-2-10 Tenathon – Saturday 23rd March Our long-time coach Roy Richardson has decided to use the fun of tennis and the collective goodwill of both our tennis and the local communities to raise money and awareness. To do something more unusual and hopefully to include local residents of Chorleywood, he will be playing doubles tennis for 12 hours continually (with some breaks!). The Tennis Club is very supportive of this event and we hope to have a lot of activities supporting the day which will involve people playing with and against Roy (paying for the privilege of course), with food, games and competitions. The event will start at 10:00 on Saturday, 23rd March, and finish at 22:00. So, there will be 12 one-hour (50 mins plus 10-minute break) slots which you may bid to play in.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
