My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. So over September I’m going to cycle 300 miles for Cancer Research. This is something completely new for me as I usually find less strenuous ways of supporting charities (can’t beat a good MacMillan Coffee Morning), so am psyching myself up and coming up with a game plan over the next few weeks. The challenge was mentioned to me by a mate and when looking into it found it was for Cancer Research, something just clicked. Over the years I've lost close family and know friends who have as well. Thinking of those in that instant made me believe 300 miles is nothing compared to what people and their families go through when they’re diagnosed and that I have the ability to do more to help bring forward the day that all cancers are cured. I would absolutely love any support anyone can give by donating to Cancer Research through my fundraising page and I will keep you updated on progress, hurdles, set backs and successes. Also any tips, route suggestions or general encouragement would be greatly welcomed. Many thanks.
