My Story
At the start of the year I set myself an achievable target of 2000 miles of cycling for 2019. As of the 20th of August I surpassed that with 733 miles ahead of where I should be. The next miles will be bonus miles and what better way to get a few more in, with raising a small amount for charity. Cancer Research UK have a ride 200 or 300 miles in the month September, of course I took the latter. Everyone will have known someone, somewhere or experienced cancer themselves, this is my little contribution to CRUK’s funding. 300 miles is nothing to me. I have pledged to raise just £150 – that’s all they ask. £0.50p a mile when broken down. No matter how much you donate (should you wish to of course), to quote a famous supermarket, every little helps.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
