My Story
Cancer Research UK is incredibly important to me. Yes, I work for them, but my support for the charity pre-dates my direct involvement with them. Too many of my friends, family and loved ones have been affected by cancer. In 2019, complications from kidney cancer took my mum. This strengthened my resolve in doing what I can to raise the vital funds that research needs. That's why I'm very pleased to be donating the net proceeds of the quiz nights I host every few weeks at my local bar to Cancer Research UK. There's no income target for this page, it's just an easy way for me to directly and transparently transfer the donations to Cancer Research UK - although anyone is more than welcome to make a donation here too ;)
