My Story
On April 22nd at around 10am I will be on the London Marathon starting line in memory and honour of my fantastic dad who died of cancer on January 9th. I'm counting on him being with me in spirit with a word in my ear or kick up the backside at mile 20 to get me to the finish line. With the long months of winter training behind me (it is spring isn't it?) and the final tubes of Deep Heat, packs of ice and bags of pasta at the ready, I will hopefully be ready for the big day. Cancer treatment has come a long way and thanks to organisations like Cancer Research survival rates are improving all the time. With continuing research that can only get better. Any donation to my page will be much appreciated and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
