My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. My beautiful mother was diagnosed with breast cancer this year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. It's been a tough year with the pandemic going on. The doctors and nurses are doing their best to treat my mother during unprecedented demand on the health services. So the money raised is going to directly fund their research into helping the thousands of women dealing with this illness. This September, I’m running 60 miles and Cycling 300 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I'm a keen cyclist but i've never attempted to run for exercise. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
