My Story
Last year I decided to do the Race for Life when every conversation I had with someone always ended up landing on the subject of cancer. At work in the office, chatting to family members or an evening in the pub with the girls... cancer was always a topic of conversation. Because of this I felt slightly useless and thought the only way I could help would be by getting off my butt and doing my little bit about it! I managed to do my first ever 5K, and I was so so proud of myslef! Which is why this year I am upping my game and I'm taking part in the 10K Race for Life. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
