I am taking part in the Race for Life in order to raise money to fight this monster of an illness. My friend's dad is currently battling leukemia which is cancer of the blood and is fighting it with everything he’s got. I am doing this for him and for everyone else who is going though it. Together we can beat cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
