I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to help KICK CANCER'S BUTT!
Cancer is a word that quickly became a part of my vocabulary as a child. Sadly, in my early years it was pretty synonymous with "death sentence" as cancer was a reality that I've seen close relatives face - whose earthly presence is now a distant memory for me. It's a reality my mum currently faces as she undergoes treatment. So if I can do something to change her reality, I WILL. This is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy, I'm running to raise money and help change the narrative for so many who face this reality every day. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
