I'm fundraising to raise money for Cancer Research UK - Children's Cancer

My Story

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. Through Chloe's Theatre Arts we are working through the month of September to raise money for Children's Cancer Awareness Month which runs throughout the duration of September! Children's Cancer diagnosis's are on the rise, with 1,900 cases reported every year, that's 5 per day. (2017 stats) and they need more funding and support in finding the safest and most efficient treatment for their needs in order to beat the illness and live long healthy lives. We are still a long way from establishing the best drugs and treatments for these children, and it is so important that we all work together and fight for them, as they are the strongest young people on this planet and deserve all of us in their corner fighting for them. As well as having my own close to home experiences with cancer within my family, as I'm sure most of you have had too, I was particularly inspired by 'Sophie's Journey' and have been following her journey through the highs and the lows for a long time, and it is children like Sophie and her family, and more families like them in the same position that we are working to support. As well as raising money each week, we will also be running a fundraising day at CTA. This will be an afternoon of games, performances, stalls, face painting and more, all in the hopes to raise as much money as possible! The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured and to help promote the research of life saving treatment for children's cancer treatment.
