I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer
My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! I'm raising money and awareness specifically for Brain Tumour Research, which receives less than 1% (0.7%) of national cancer research spending in the UK. There are more than 120 different types of brain tumour, and a diagnosis is given every 2 hours in England. Between 2002 and 2015, the average annual national research spend on breast cancer was £33 million, for brain tumour research, the average spend was just £4 million. At the current rate of spend, it could take 100 years for brain cancer to catch up with developments in other diseases and find a cure. This has to change. Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE
Brain cancers
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. That’s 35 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat brain cancer.
