I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

I have always spoke of doing the race for life but this year I am actually following through with my promise. Having had family members and friends effected by testicular , skin , breast and pancreatic cancer I am not fundraising for a particular type as I and my family along with millions of others only know too well of how vast and varied cancer can be.

Through doing my nursing course it is hard hitting seeing and caring for the effect cancer has on not only the person but family members. So this year I thought it was the perfect time to raise as much as possible to help fund the research that is carried out 365 days a year.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
