My Story
Cancer has hit my family in more ways than one and although we are all currently doing well, the fight never stops! So I am raising money for all the people that took a hit this year and that had to fight cancer and go through their treatments alone due to COVID and its restrictions. My wanting to do the race is my way of giving something back after my family members receiving treatment themselves and for all of those who have been through or are currently going through treatment.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
