My Story
Doing the race for Life in memory of my dad who died last year of lung cancer, the day of the race was the day of his funeral so holds alot of significance. I'm also racing in memory of Harry who we met at the hospice who was dying of breast cancer. Something we don't think men get but they do. Harry was an amazing guy and him and my dad become good friends while there at the hospice. Unfortunately they both died 2 days apart so June holds alot of memories for me. So I wanted to so this in memory of them both ❤️ Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
