Cheryl's Race for Life

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I lost both of my parents to Cancer over 23 years ago. One of my closest family friends has Mantle Cell Lymphoma and is currently going through treatment. It is heartbreaking watching him go through this and even though I offer my friendship and I will support him through his treatment I still want to do something more which is why I am taking part in Race for Life. Over the years I have lost friends to cancer and it is not nice watching their families go through the heartache and pain of losing someone to this awful disease. I also know a few survivors of cancer including my husband who had bladder cancer. He has just had is yearly check up and they came back clear, woop woop. So if my little bit can help raise money so more research can be done to help cure cancer I am gonna do it. So please give what you can to help support this worthy cause.
